Hayley Alexander is Chief Executive Officer of Alexander Group. With a background in social work and social policy, Hayley shifted her career in her early 30s to join her family’s transport business, Alexander Group. Since 2003, she has taken on leadership and management roles, helping to grow and evolve the company. Alexander Group, founded in 1971, is a family-run business specialising in the transport and distribution of hazardous and high-value goods. Now in its second generation, Hayley works alongside her siblings to continue the company’s commitment to safety, reliability, and high performance in distribution. The company operates nationwide with a distributed workforce of over 200 staff and a fleet of over 110 trucks. They provide transport solutions for cryogenic gases, LPG, bulk liquid and refrigerated goods. Alexander Group has been recognised for its focus on health and safety, and fleet safety receiving industry awards in 2022 and 2023. Hayley brings a people-focused approach to leadership, drawing on her background in social policy and years of hands-on business experience. She is interested in how strong leadership and clear strategies can help teams navigate change and uncertainty.
