Annerita Edy is the HR Lead for McDonald’s Restaurants NZ. Annerita has always had a keen eye on human rights, employment law and human resources practices. Her background involves interning at the South African Human Rights Commission, practicing as an employment lawyer, wrestling complex ER/HR areas and driving ‘lead the way’ conversations within the automotive industry, to providing key HR direction and an always attentive ear to McDonald’s employees and franchisees in New Zealand. She is a firm believer that the challenging and unpredictable business environment should not cause one to sway from their goals but rather to strive for continuous improvement. Annerita holds a Master’s degree in Law, has had the opportunity of being part of leadership training in and around South Africa, Japan and New Zealand and is an enthusiastic speaker at many HR events as she has an unquenching thirst for education.
